The hat is a classic beanie shape and is made from hand grown, spun and knitted/crocheted hemp. The Hemp is coloured with natural plant-based dyes, for a deep colour that has natural highlights for lovely effect, or go au naturel with unbleached and undyed natural hemp colour.
Hemp is a much tougher and stiffer fibre than cotton or wool, and therefore the hemp beanie can feel quite strange, even rough, to begin with. However, it does soften on wear, and will soften more if it is washed resulting in a super comfortable hat that is shaped perfectly to your head. The hemp beanie is surprisingly warm, but breathable too and although not waterproof will resist a light shower.
100% Hemp. Handmade and Fairly Traded from Nepal with Love. Suitable for Vegans
Handwash your hemp beanie in cold or luke warm water. Do not Tumble Dry. Natural dyes may run when wet and may transfer onto other surfaces. Wash Dark colours seperately.
Please note that the exact colour and weave of the hemp beanie may differ slightly from that pictured, this is due to all items being handmade and dyed in individual dye lots, therefore there is some variation. This is not a fault and is part of the unique charm of the product.
