This hemp belt is fully adjustable, sustainable and feaures the prettiest recycled silk yarn too! Hemp is super strong and this hemp belt can be pulled as tight as you need it. The hemp is combined with recycled silk yarn that is made from old saris and come is the widest array of beautiful varied colours, and so each belt is completely unique. There are double D-rings in silver coloured metal for easy looping and wear – simply loop the belt through and double back through the top loop and pull tightly to securely fasten. Each belt is handmade from Natural hemp that is grown and woven by hand in the foothills of the Himalaya in Nepal. Each belt is unique with its own quirks in the yarn and weave.

Hemp is one of the most environmentally friendly fibres – did you know that it has a much smaller carbon footprint than cotton, and uses less water and fewer pesticides too? – and of course it uses none of the harmful chemicals used to make leather, and no animals die to make it either! It grows naturally in Nepal, with very little human intervention, and has a much higher yield than cotton with more frequent harvesting.
