Inspired by the mandala and paisley designs found in wedding mehndi (henna) and the beautiful art work in Nepal and India we designed this stunning cotton embroidered paisley dress. Made from the softest cotton jersey it has a slight stretch for perfect fit, but is smooth and breathable too. The hand printed designs are offset for a modern look and accented in bright embroidery for a unique look. The modest v neck and waist band create a flattering shape and the wide shoulders protect you from the sun. The skirt hem has a wide band to give weight and ensure a perfectly fit skirt that stays put.

The printing on this paisley dress is done in-house at our small family run factory in Kathmandu. The patterns always come out slightly different each time – this adds to the unique character of the garments, and the placement often differs slightly too! An easy to wear garment that is handmade and fair trade and looks gorgeous!

Please note that as this garment is made from stretch fabric it has negative ease, and therefore the garment measurement should be less than the equivalent body measurement. Eg chest measurement Size 10 actual chest measurement 38″, finished garment chest measurement 34″

Other Info

As this garment is handmade there may be slight variations in the weave, stitching, printing and colour/pattern placements. These are not flaws, but part of the unique handmade nature of the product and are what makes it special!

Machine wash on Cool Delicates or Wool Cycle or Hand wash in cool water. Do Not Tumble Dry. Natural Dyes may run for the first few washes, wash dark colours separately.
