Snuggly Fleece Poncho

These super warm snuggly fleece ponchos are a festival staple, perfect for an extra layer of warmth that will fit over any outfit!

The fleece ponchos are made from recycled acrylic shawls that are traditional and very popular in the mountain regions of Nepal and Northern India (you may seem them advertised as Yak wool, but they are most definitely not!). The shawls are cut and sewn into a poncho, using all the fabric to add a kangaroo pocket, hood and placket. The hood is lined in black fleece for extra warmth for your head. The tassels on the shawls are on the front of the poncho. The neckline fastens with traditional Nepali ‘madal’ shaped toggle buttons.

The fleece ponchos come in a variety of different designs and colours, with traditional geometric designs to funky elephant prints or psychedelic floral patterns. Each fleece poncho is unique as the exact colours and pattern placements vary.

One size fits all. These ponchos are a shorter jacket style length, not the longer dress style. Ellie is 5’7″ and Jim is 6’4″ for reference 🙂
